Since 1977 the Motability Scheme has helped disabled people, their families and carers reclaim their freedom and independence by delivering mobility to millions of people all over the UK. As more and more manufacturers joined the scheme over the years disabled people were given a variety of well-established vehicle makes and models to choose from, among them, it is Volkswagen Motability cars that stand out as the most reliable and easily adaptable options.

What it means to be Recognised Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Converters

At TBC Conversions we work closely with Volkswagen, supplying a range of Volkswagen Motability cars or WAVs, alongside our accessible and standard minibuses. It’s thanks to our innovative vehicle conversion work that we are Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Recognised Converters, and proud to be part of a network that supports independent conversions specialists.

Volkswagen Motability Cars

We can guarantee that every Volkswagen Motability car or minibus adapted by TBC Conversions meets the high standards and technical requirements of the manufacturer. Our work doesn’t impact the quality or reliability of Volkswagen vehicles design or build, plus our processes and people are subject to strict examinations and auditing from VW. Altogether this ensures TBC Conversions deliver converted Volkswagen Motability cars that match the benchmark that VW has set.

Our range of Volkswagen Motability cars

At TBC Conversions we understand that every one of our customers is different, with their own individual needs, requirements and wishes. Because of this recognition, we can tailor our WAV conversions to every type of disabled driver or passenger. From medium to large, our Volkswagen Motability car range accommodates wheelchair-using drivers and passengers as well as their families and carers comfortably.

Let’s look at the Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life

With an ultra-lightweight rear loading ramp and Q’Straint tie-downs and restraints, as far as Volkswagen Motability cars go, our Caddy Maxi LIfe offers an easy-to-use day to day travel option for wheelchair-using passengers and their families or carers.

At TBC Conversions, we recognise the necessity for passengers travelling in the rear of the vehicle to feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family journey. We do not want people to feel isolated or cut off from others travelling in the cabin. Thanks to Volkswagen’s thoughtful designs, the middle row of seating can be removed partially or entirely to remove barriers from the rear of the vehicle to the forward passenger compartment.

What’s more the Caddy Maxi Life plus from TBC Conversions offers wheelchair passengers further comfort whilst travelling with rear sliding opening windows and our continuous rear door seal technology protecting passengers from the elements, car fumes and road noise. Additional options are available including privacy glass and a winch to assist passenger entry,

In short, the Caddy Maxi Life is a Volkswagen Motability car that provides superior comfort and ease of use for everyday travel, making it the ideal choice for carers and families with wheelchair users.

Moving on to the Volkswagen T6.1 Range

A blank canvas for converters to work with, the T6.1 Range are popular Volkswagen Motability cars among those who wish to retain their ability to drive independently. Thanks to the flexibility of the range, TBC Conversions adaptions can assist with driving independence in a number of ways.

Our side and rear inboard and underfloor lifts can be remotely operated by wheelchair users, allowing ease of access without disassembling their wheelchairs or needing assistance from others.

The rear access lift shown below from Autolift guides drivers onto the platform and into their vehicle with subtle low-level lighting, stowing away quickly and efficiently behind them. What’s more, the Autolift is less conspicuous than others on the market, blending in with the stylish and sleek Volkswagen interiors, something which we know is important to our clients.

Autolift – rear access lift

Once inside, our customers can then choose to transfer to a driving position with our 6-way seats, securing their wheelchair in place and moving onto the driver’s seat quickly and with ease. Alternatively, the option to drive from a wheelchair eliminates the need to vacate the wheelchair at all, with a sophisticated docking system that allows wheelchair users to lock in and drive away.

Of course, the T6.1 Range of Volkswagen Motability cars also offers a variety of wheelchair passenger options including an upfront passenger position whereby the wheelchair user can be seated alongside the driver.

From the Volkswagen Shuttle to the exquisite Caravelle, our conversions provide clients with larger WAVs that can seat up to 6 passengers and a wheelchair user comfortably. Perfect for independent drivers, families, and organisations to get on the road efficiently and in style.

Finally, our Volkswagen Crafter Minibus Conversions

Outside of our Volkswagen Motability car range, TBC Conversions also work to convert Crafter vans into 16- and 17-seater standard and accessible minibuses.

Our TBC Taxi and Bus Conversions team work to supply local authorities, commercial dealerships, community transport groups, care homes, schools and colleges with minibus conversions that are adapted to suit the individual needs of the end-users.With a range of access options to choose from the accessible minibus, Crafters are supplied with rear inboard passenger lifts and have the option to seat up to 5 wheelchairs, plus flexible seating is made possible with quick release seating and 8 track M2 tested flooring. We also offer standard Volkswagen minibus conversions supplied with electric cantilever side steps, saloon heating and flexible seating.

TBC Conversions’ carefully considered minibus conversions include from the 16- and 17-seater Volkswagen Crafters but the same conversions can also be applied to the smaller 9-seater Volkswagen Crafter with accessible and standard options, each one completed with Intelligence, Empathy and Care.

As the team at TBC Conversions expands further, we look forward to introducing our team members to our customers, colleagues, and peers. This week it’s the turn of Gary Wood, who has joined the Motability Aftercare Team at TBC Conversions in Bromborough, to help our customers and Motability leaseholders maintain their vehicles.

Let’s see what Gary had to say when we asked him a few questions.

So, Gary, how did you come to work at TBC Conversions?

Well, one of the things that are great at TBC Conversions is that all the staff welcome you like family. Funny thing is, when I applied for the vacancy advertised for the Motability Aftercare team, I didn’t know that a long term peer had recently started with TBC too.

Anita Sheard and I have worked together for years in the past, in a fast-paced motor dealership, and we’ve always had a great working relationship so it was kind of like fate that she already worked here.

How do you think you can help TBC Conversions customers in your new role?

So far, I’ve found there’s a high level of support and expert guidance we offer here at TBC Conversions. We aim to help and assist Motability Lease customers with all their wheelchair accessible vehicle aftercare, but also, we’re here to help with things like servicing and MOT bookings.

We try and stay up to date with all Motability news and developments to give our customers the best possible service.

What you do see for the future of TBC Conversions?

The only way is up. Even in the short time I’ve been with the company, there has been a lot of change. Parts of experience and improvement processes that have been brought in from new employees, plus there’s a real buzz about being able to get out and about to see our customers with fewer restrictions.

What is it that makes you get up in the morning?

I have always been excited to get going in the morning.

As well as being grateful for my family, I really am grateful to be able to get up and get to work. I think that so far, I’ve found working closely with the Motability Scheme is really rewarding. I’m now helping people who really need it every day and giving them the freedom and independence that, without companies like TBC Conversions, they might not have access to.

What’s the best thing about your role with TBC Conversions?

Working with such a great team with shared goals and enthusiasm for the job. We all feel the same way about the important work we are doing and it’s that plus interacting with such a wide range of customers that I’ve really enjoyed.

How do you think TBC Conversions stand out from other converters?

Other than the dedication from the team, I think there are some seriously innovative technologies at work by the R&D team, engineers, and technicians at TBC Conversions production space in Dungannon and Bromborough.

Our T6.1 Range boasts the highest entry height on the market, exclusive to TBC Conversions, and then there’s our continuous rear door seal which we fit to every one of our WAV’s that was developed specifically for the comfort of our customers.

It’s little things like this, plus the personalised service and the extra effort that every member of the TBC Conversions team delivers which I believe puts us head and shoulders above other mobility vehicle converters.

Finally, a question we’ve asked all of the team so far, what would your dream car be and why?

It’s got to be the DeLorean from Back to the Future so I can go back in time and redo some of the silly things I’ve done in the past.

Paul Nigh’s ‘TeamTimeCar.com’ Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine

We think Gary has fit right into the TBC Conversions family as a valued member of the Motability Scheme aftercare team. His experience in the motor industry, paired with a kind-hearted and friendly nature, make him a valuable asset to the team and a great help to customers with wheelchair accessible vehicles under the Motability Scheme.

For any assistance with the aftercare of your WAV do not hesitate to call Gary and the team on 0800 999 5090 or you can email them at mobilitycustomercare@tbcconversions.com.

header-1-1200x675.png

In recent months there has been something happening on social media. Now if you are not in the world of marketing, or even just the niche that is marketing to disabled audiences, this movement may have completely escaped your attention, so we thought we’d help bring it into sharp focus.

How it all began

One woman, Victoria Jenkins, founder of adaptive clothing label Unhidden Clothing, noticed that despite carefully targeting her adverts, painstakingly researching her hashtags and producing cleverly curated content, her adaptive brands reach on social media wasn’t what it should be.

After looking into why this could be she made a shocking discovery which she then spoke out about on social media. The response from 100’s of other adaptive clothing, mobility aid suppliers and other disability brand marketers showcased them and their small business promotions were blatantly being silenced by social media algorithms.

She posted way back in April about her findings and started a powerful movement against the obvious and unfair censorship of disability on all social media platforms. What followed was nothing short of impressive, as the community that had been brought together because of this social media censorship, united to try and make a difference together.

So how can this happen?

Definition of Social Media Algorithm: a technical means of sorting posts based on relevancy instead of publishing time, in order to prioritize which, content a user sees first according to the likelihood that they will actually engage with such content.

By definition, carefully curated targeted content should reach our desired audiences and encourage engagement with relevant brands, this has however turned out not to be the case. With examples coming out from the 100’s of adaptive business owners and brands proving their posts and ads have been banned or stopped by social media platforms for containing “sensitive material“.

The likes of Seated Sewing who specialise in adaptive garment sewing and hospital gowns had their ads cancelled because the “bodies and skin” on show are not what people want to see. Or Slick Chicks who design accessible intimates for diverse bodies having their work censored for using models who’ve had mastectomies or amputees, the people who represent their target audience!

These are just two examples of a bigger problem but luckily 20 of these dedicated brands have now come together to change the landscape and level the playing field for digital marketing accessible products.

How tbc conversions are involved

At TBC Conversions we provide wheelchair accessible vehicles to those who need them. We work in close partnership with the Motability Scheme to deliver seamless service to all our customers throughout their vehicle lease.

Marketing for TBC Conversions has recently taken a large leap into mainstream social media, but the struggle is real, even in the adaptive automotive industry. Carefully curated reels and videos of vehicles converted to allow wheelchair access are clearly getting less reach and/or engagement than their abled counterparts. Working under a large established motor dealer group, we are able to compare how our posts perform and there is a clear difference.

So far, we have not faced any difficulty with paid social advertising, but this could be down to the fact that we haven’t used any live models in our promotional videos as yet.

We would like to move forward with live reviews of our vehicles, using real wheelchair users, and want to shoot more promotional material with relatable models in the shots, although until the playing field is levelled and the restrictions and censorship stop, this could just be money and effort down the drain.

As many of the brands involved in the movement are small to medium businesses, money and time are precious commodities. To stand out in such a niche market takes dedication, creativity and at the end of the day cash, as we all know social media is pay to play these days. All these things are easy to produce when you are running a business close to your heart, as the passion is there, but when your work is rejected censored or deemed “sensitive” by an algorithm it can be soul-destroying. This plus the fact that you know your target audience aren’t being fairly represented on any social media platforms.

Thanks to the brands behind #DiversityIncludesDisability all adaptive and disabled industries could start to see positive change in the way social media platforms promote our hard work. Let’s hope that in the near future, disabled brands and indeed audiences will receive the same representation as their able counterparts.

Car-Scheme-1200x675.png

Over the past few months, we’ve been introducing a few of our team members who have worked with TBC Conversions for years. Today we are pleased to learn more about a new addition to our Motability Car Scheme Aftercare team; meet Anita Sheard.

Let’s find out why Anita came to TBC Conversions and what she loves so far about her time here.

What attracted you to apply for a role in the Motability Car Scheme Aftercare team?

I had known Ray Walsh, UK Sales Manager, for years as I already worked in the motor industry, one day we ended up discussing his work and how much he enjoyed working with the company. The main thing that I suppose attracted me to the role was all the great work TBC Conversions were doing for customers and clients who relied on the Motability Scheme.

What do you think is the key message here at TBC Conversions?

Definitely the importance of customer care. Our customers are at the core of everything we do and, dealing with the Motability Car Scheme on our customer behalf, we work to help make their day-to-day life as easy and problem-free as possible.

What is the one thing, so far, that you are most proud of since starting with TBC Conversions?

I was promoted in just 4 months, something which I believe really shows the companies faith in me and my abilities, but also shows just how much I enjoy doing the work I am.

How do you see the company progressing over the course of 2021?

Honestly, I think if the last few months are any indication, TBC Conversions will be building a greater presence all over the UK in the mobility and vehicle conversions market. I believe we can expect more production to move over from Northern Ireland to our Bromborough based workshops and also we can expect to see a better, more relaxed and safer way of dealing with our customers at scheduled safety checks, handovers and specialised events.

What's on Mobility Events 2021

Tell us what gets you up in the morning?

The team I work with are so welcoming and friendly and honestly, I really look forward to coming into the office each and every day. Helping the people who make use of the Motability Car Scheme really is rewarding. Our customers have been among the worse affected people from the effects of the pandemic, and I think it’s important to make our interactions and the visits from our technicians a totally positive experience.

Can you tell us your favourite thing about the work you do for TBC Conversions?

Being a real people person, my favourite thing about my job is talking with our customers. Our customer base is so diverse that one call I can be speaking with an elderly lady who cares for her husband, another day I can be speaking with a disabled military veteran or a mother with a disabled child. It’s because no two customers are alike, and everyone has a story to share, that I enjoy every phone call and interaction. What we do is so important to our customers and assisting such a great service like the Motability Car Scheme, really is the most enjoyable part of my job here.

TBC Conversions really do stand out among other wheelchair accessible vehicle converters, why do you think that is?

We truly care about our work. The Motability Car Scheme helps those with disabilities access vehicles to help retain independence and easy travel, and at TBC Mobility Conversions we build further upon the strength of that service.

Our customer-centric focus helps to ensure we provide our clients with a WAV that caters to their individual needs, no matter what we never sell a car that isn’t going to be absolutely stress free to use and maintain. Furthermore, it’s important to us to keep wheelchairs users as comfortable and safe as possible in our conversions, as well as provide vehicles that are stylish and practical for everyday use.

We like to build long-lasting trusting relationships with our customers, using the same level of intelligence, empathy and care we apply when building every wheelchair accessible vehicle, we supply.

Lastly, and for a bit of fun, what would your dream car be and why?

A Dodge Charger without a doubt, because it’s fast and furious just like me.

TBC Mobility Conversions team dream cars

Mobility-Managing-Dealer.jpg

For many, the Motability Scheme is a valuable life-changing service and at TBC Conversions we are glad to work closely with the scheme, helping make a difference in peoples lives. Our wheelchair accessible vehicle conversions are purpose-built to help keep people mobile and, on the road, and it is working in tandem with the Motability Scheme that allows us to do this efficiently.

Over the past year, there were some changes made to the way Motability and TBC Conversions work together to ensure our clients get the best from us and here we are going to detail exactly what those changes mean to you.

Who You Gonna Call?

The main changes start with Motability Operations giving wheelchair accessible converters and dealers like TBC Conversions more responsibility regarding the aftercare of our clients and customers and the wheelchair accessible vehicles we have supplied.

This means that we at TBC Conversions, are able to govern our own aftersales processes and procedures allowing us to improve your overall customer experience and give you a familiar point of contact for all your WAV aftercare needs.

As your Motability Managing Dealer, we can ensure you a more personalised level of aftercare.  Getting to know every one of our customers on a one-to-one level and addressing your needs and concerns efficiently from handover to hand back.

We are happy to be the first port of call for everything you need including:

  • Faults and issues with your conversion
  • Queries or concerns with the functionality of your wheelchair accessible vehicle
  • Help and guidance with regards to details of your lease.
  • To organise scheduled vehicle and conversion checks
  • Servicing and MOT assistance
  • Doorstep demonstrations for your next WAV

The team at TBC Conversions will always be at the other end of the telephone, ready and waiting to take your call.

What is the Motability Converter Partnership?

Under the Motability Converter Partnership, people with disabilities are able to lease an expertly converted wheelchair accessible vehicle in exchange for their monthly mobility allowance. At TBC Conversions we are proud to be recognised converters under this partnership that works to make a difference in the lives of people who use wheelchairs in their everyday life.

Thanks to this wonderful working partnership with Motability, we work to develop long-lasting relationships with our wheelchair users, their carers and families alike. Our aftercare team are in regular contact with clients throughout the length of their lease, keeping their wheelchair accessible vehicles safely maintained and in good working order.

At the end of the 5-year lease, our dedicated sales team members are then able to further extend this longstanding relationship by arranging free doorstep demonstrations, assisting people in the selection of their next WAV.

In short, the partnership helps TBC Conversions and Motability work together to improve the lives of those in the scheme. We provide our mutual clients one point of contact which allows our team to really build a close client relationship, and support customers with TBC Conversion’s own uniquely tailored approach to customer care.

MOBILITY-EVENS-HEADER-1200x852.png

After a long year of absence from the Mobility events circuit, TBC Conversions can finally look forward to appearing at live exhibitions and seeing our clients, customers, and colleagues face-to-face. By the end of the year, TBC Conversions’ team and products will have been showcased live in at least two major mobility events, something we have all been looking forward to in 2021.

So, here is a selection of up-and-coming mobility events where you can find TBC Conversions, our products, services and expert staff for the rest of 2021.

Mobility Event: Kidz to Adults – Disabled Living Collective

Date: 28th June 2021 Type: Virtual

Kidz to Adultz Mobility Events UK 2021

Kidz to Adultz Exhibitions are one of the UK’s most prestigious event and publication organisations in the disabled community.

Their work has consistently brought companies together whose products and services benefit the lives of children, young adults, their carers and families with disabilities and additional needs. Under normal circumstances, their live mobility events would be hosted up and down the UK, and over the last year, two successful Venue to Virtual events have already been rolled out.

TBC Conversions have always enjoyed being a part of this growing Disabled Living Collective and have been exhibiting with Kidz to Adultz since our inception. We can look forward to exhibiting our wheelchair accessible vehicles and independent driving aids at the next Venue to Virtual event – Disabled Living Collective and an audience including end-users, carers, families, and HCPs in attendance this June.

The Venue to Virtual Exhibition follows on from the success of previous online mobility events the organisation has hosted during the pandemic. The event will be hosted live and online on the 28th of June and will give people the chance to view the latest equipment and services that are available today and provide guidance on how to get in touch with the companies providing it.

Register your free attendance at the virtual mobility event, and check us out at Kidz to Adultz Disabled Living Collective.

Mobility Event: The Big Event – Motability

Date: 6th & 7th August 2021 Type: Virtual

THE BIG EVENT - MOBILITY EVENTS UK 2021

This is going to be one big day for Motability customers and partners of the scheme as The Big Event goes virtual in 2021.

Considering the pandemic, organisers made the decision to change the usual large scale live mobility event to a virtual showcase for 2021, inviting exhibitors to build virtual stands that will be available to visit for attendees from the comfort of their homes.

TBC Conversions work closely with the Motability Scheme and in the past have enjoyed exhibiting at their One Big Day and The Big Events hosted all around the UK. Our complete range of wheelchair accessible vehicles are available on the Motability Scheme are available to see this year on The Big Event Virtual Showcase, complete with demonstration videos and live chat options to speak with a TBC Sales team member.

The work that has gone into making The Big Event Virtual means it simple and easy for those who would usually attend live exhibitions to join in. What’s more, this virtual mobility event access gives those who are still not comfortable leaving their homes or entering large crowds the opportunity to see all that is available in the mobility world in complete safety.

It’s easy and free to register and attend The Big Event 2021 and the team at TBC Conversions cannot wait to see you there.

Mobility Event: Naidex Show

Date: 15th & 16th September 2021 Type: Live

NAIDEX 2021 uk Mobility events

An organisation that work to promote products and services that support independent living, Naidex is an exhibition that TBC Conversions feel is important to be a part of.

After a series of successful virtual showcases, September is promising to be an exciting month for Nadiex and their exhibitors as live events return, and Naidex will be one of the first major hosts to return to face-to-face exhibits.

In September 2021, TBC Conversions will gladly look forward to attending our first live mobility event in over a year. As such a vital part of our customer ethos, in-person interaction is something we have dearly missed during the pandemic. Our free doorstep demonstrations and necessary home vehicle safety checks have continued with safe social distancing and COVID safe procedures in place, but this will be our first chance to get back to what we love doing; seeing our customers.

Plenty of our peers will be feeling as excited as we are about returning to live exhibitions schedules, and we’d like to encourage those who are able to safely do so to attend the Naidex Show as their live mobility event returns in 2021.

Mobility Event: OT Show

Date: 24th & 25th November 2021 Type: Live

OT Show Mobility events UK 2021

Only the second live mobility event taking place in 2021, but one we are extremely happy to be exhibiting at again, The OT Show is a wonderful chance for TBC Conversions to showcase our product to professionals who are likely to use them.

This event prides itself on being the largest educational and inspiring mobility event for a range of occupational therapists working within specialist areas across the UK. The OT Show gives professionals the chance to explore and learn about the tools available to them within their respective sectors and, in the case of TBC Conversions, our WAVs are always a great attraction.

Taking place in the Birmingham NEC in late November, The OT Show is one we always look forward to attending, and for this year those that cannot attend will get the chance to join in online. Organisers have followed the success of their online virtual showcase and combined it with the live event creating a hybrid mobility event that people around the country can attend.

A Hybrid Future for Mobility Events

As we look forward to things returning to some state of normality on the mobility events circuit, we can also look forward to some positive changes happening. As we know in 2020 virtual events became a necessity and now, following positive responses from attendees and exhibitors alike, organisations have continued to develop their online presences keeping virtual events part of the programme.

In 2021, and for the foreseeable future, virtual mobility events will continue to be a part of major events making them accessible for people in their homes and workplaces. Whilst originally intended to enable social distancing, these virtual events will now give people from anywhere in the country the opportunity to access the products, services, and educational material on display without attending a physical event.

At TBC Conversions our team know that attending these major mobility events, give the disabled community and those who work in the sector the chance to come together, share what they know. We look forward to seeing the latest technologies, inspirational speeches and our peers and clients in person.

Whilst we cannot wait to get back out there, we are also excited to embrace the ongoing presence of online mobility events and exhibitions where we can get our products and services out to an audience beyond the physical events.

Stay tuned to find out where we’ll be, both physically and virtually in the future on our News and Events pages an

Mobility-Aftercare-Meet-the-Team-.png

One of the people our customers will speak to time and time again, Elaine has become part of the furniture during her time with TBC Mobility Conversions. Her day to day involves maintaining the high standards of Motability aftercare our customers and clients required. This can be anything from being a liaison between Motability and our customers to arranging the necessary checks and tests we regularly carry out on our WAV’s.

Like so many of us at TBC Mobility Conversions, it’s fulfilling the care and duty to our customers that Elaine says makes her job so satisfactory.

How did you get involved with TBC Mobility Conversions then?

The Motability Aftercare system can be quite a challenge to navigate for those who aren’t familiar with it. Luckily I had tonnes of experience and already knew some team members from working in the industry.

Thanks to a good working relationship I had built up with Ray, TBC’s Sales Manager, I jumped at the chance to be part of his strat up team, the company opened offices in Bromborough in May 2019.

What are the most important messages for clients of TBC Mobility Conversions to be aware of?

One of the most important things to do when working with such a well-known company as Motability is to uphold its own level of commitment to customers, and exceed these wherever possible.

At TBC Mobility Conversions we have a mantra that echoes that of the Donnelly Group, “keeping the customer at the core of all we do”. Every point of contact with our customer is a chance to showcase our own levels of dedication, and it’s a testament to the company that we are now recommended suppliers of Motability’s as well as recognised Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle converters.

Mobility conversions

What makes our job as satisfying as it is is knowing that all our own mobility conversions have been carried out with intelligence, empathy and care, ensuring the customer’s needs are met and exceeded.

Is there a particularly proud moment you can recall since starting with TBC Mobility Conversions?

I can honestly say that since I joined back in 2019, I’m most proud of how the company has grown. Even during this most difficult time in UK history, our team have powered through, providing the same level of service, duty and care.

It’s incredibly rewarding to know you’ve been a part of something like this from the early stages.

What do you see for the future of TBC?

As I said previously, I believe the future of TBC Conversions will only continue to surprise me. We are part of a growing market, the advances being made in mobility conversions and medical engineering will enable so many to maintain their freedom on the road.

We can all, I think, look forward to a bright and successful future.

How have the effects of COVID made a difference to your day-to-day?

I think the team at TBC Mobility Conversions have adapted very well during the pandemic. We have set procedures to follow regarding social distancing practices enabling us to work at full capacity.

Our team are dedicated to carrying out their jobs to the best of our abilities because, at the end of the day, it’s the safety of our customers at stake.

Every one of our customers has a unique set of needs and it’s our job to tailor our aftercare services to meet those needs. We built our business on the ability to interact with our customers, making each one feel as valued as the individuals they are.

We have continued to carry out our home checks and tests whilst managing to keep our customers safe and cared for in the process. If anything the recent circumstances has shown me that TBC Mobility Conversions will go above and beyond to provide the care our clients need no matter what.

What is it that you look forward to when you wake up in the morning?

Other than my son you mean.

I wake up every day looking forward to hearing the grateful thankyous of our lovely customers. Every one of them understands that even in these difficult times, we need to do our jobs and keep them safe.

Plus, sometimes I feel that these people simply enjoy hearing from someone outside their bubble. A new and friendly voice can always make the smallest difference and our calls can really perk up someone’s day.

Tell us the favourite part of your job and the work TBC Mobility Conversions do.

For me personally, it’s the joy on our customer’s faces when they take ownership of their brand new WAV. We’re giving people their freedom back, a chance to travel either independently or comfortably with their family, and it’s this that really makes the job we do here so worthwhile.

Finally, what would your dream car be and why?

Funnily enough, I finally own my dream car. My little Mini Cooper Sports John Cooper Works. It’s my pride and joy and I wouldn’t choose to drive anything else.

It’s the staff here like Elaine who really makes the difference at TBC Mobility Conversions. Being the first port of call for all our client’s aftercare needs, Elaine and the aftercare team are what TBC Conversion is all about, a high standard of friendly, expert customer service.

The customer journey with TBC Mobility Conversions begins with the delivery of a new WAV and endures through our aftercare teams continued expert work and support.
