Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
To join the Motability Scheme, you’ll need to receive a qualifying mobility allowance such as the Higher Rate Mobility Component of DLA or the Enhanced Rate of PIP. You also need at least 12 months remaining on your award.

Step 2: Choose your WAV

Step 3: Demonstrations and Assessments
Before ordering, we’ll arrange a home demonstration of the WAV to ensure it meets your needs. This is an excellent opportunity to test access points, seating positions, and accommodations in real-life settings.
Step 4: Place Your Order
Once you’ve chosen the right vehicle, your Motability dealer will submit the order. Your mobility allowance is then transferred directly to the Motability Scheme to cover the cost. If your chosen WAV requires an Advance Payment, this will be arranged at the time of order.
Step 5: Vehicle Conversion and Preparation
Next, your chosen vehicle will undergo specialist adaptations at our workshop. This may include floor lowering, installing a ramp or lift, or restraint systems for wheelchair users. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
Step 6: Delivery Day
For WAV customers, delivery usually takes place at your home. On the big day, we will: double check the vehicle meets your needs, show you how to use the controls, ramp or lift and ensure your nominated drivers are covered on the insurance.
Step 7: Enjoy Worry-Free Motoring
